Uro-Vaxom® at the 31st Brazilian Congress of Urology, 30.10-02.11. 2007

Professor C. Schulman, a key opinion leader in urology from Belgium, gave a very interesting presentation on “The clinical evidence of immunological therapy in the treatment of urinary tract infections” during a symposium at the 31st Brazilian Congress of Urology in Salvador do Bahia. More than 700 doctors attended this symposium organized by Aspen, OM PHARMA’s partner in Brazil, on October 31st, 2007 with the aim to introduce this therapeutic concept. The numerous questions of the Brazilian medical specialists highlighted their great interest for such therapeutic approach with Uro-Vaxom®. This immunostimulating medication has recently obtained the marketing authorization in Brazil for the management of urinary tract infections and will be launched in this country during the first quarter of 2008. Uro-Vaxom® is already marketed in more than 30 countries worldwide as a successful therapy for recurrent urinary tract infections.
