Launch of Broncho-Vaxom ® in Poland for respiratory infections and COPD

OM PHARMA has signed an agreement with UCB for the marketing of Broncho-Vaxom ® in Poland. Founded in 1928 in Belgium, UCB has become a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

The introduction of Broncho-Vaxom ® as the immunostimulant for the prevention of respiratory tract infections could represent an additional therapeutic contribution for fighting recurrent and chronic respiratory diseases. In Poland, antibiotics have been shown to be over-prescribed for upper respiratory tract infections. Moreover, chronic respiratory pulmonary diseases are a great public health problem representing a substantial socioeconomic burden.
